Jacob Gordon is an Ivy League-trained attorney and a member of the California Bar Association since 2003. He recently moved back to New Jersey to become an attorney and project manager at Cooper's Ferry Development Association (CFDA) in Camden. CFDA is a private non-profit corporation aimed at coherently planning and implementing high-quality urban redevelopment projects to help replenish Camden's depleted tax base and create large number of jobs for city residents. CFDA also works to improve Camden's environment as a place in which to live, to work, to visit and to invest.
Prior to his work at O'Melveny, Jacob recently spent three years in the award-winning litigation department of O'Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles, assisting in representing high profile clients such as Marriott, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Lincoln Electric and AMD in civil litigation. He has appeared in California state court for paying clients and on pro-bono matters. He was prominently featured in Public Counsel's 2005 Annual William O. Douglas Award Video Presentation for active participation in their Homeless Court project.
Jacob has also represented clients for the Public Defender's Offices of Philadelphia and San Francisco, as well as the Law Offices of Feldman & Orlansky in Anchorage, Alaska. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, photography, hiking, climbing, traveling and all other exploring, through radio topics or otherwise.
